A lovely small site, rather like a CL / CS in the large gardens of the owners. Guy and Janet are an English couple who have lived in the village for nearly 10 years, they themselves are motorhomers so they are pretty well versed at what people want.
The pitching area is all grass but its firm and they have slabs if there is any danger of wheels sinking. Plenty of ehu available, water hose for filling / chem disp / free internet. The site feels safe and secure and is gated. There is a shower and toilet in a small guest cottage in the camping area.
The village is like stepping back into a world from 40 years ago. Very few cars, cobbled roads, houses are old and cottage like. There are a few blocks of empty apartment buildings, these don't look well in the landscape but they are former army barracks for the Russian army that used to be stationed in the village.
There are a couple of small shops and cafes, the people in the village are very friendly. Most do not speak English but they smile and are pleased to see you. There is a big ex-pat community in the village, over 50 couples.
Guy and Janet are very helpful, very knowledgeable and willing to help with any requests. They leave you to it but they are only in the house if you need them.
This is a really lovely away from it all site. Very peaceful and quiet, we really enjoyed it and would recommend it. Charged at LEV 15 (£5. 50 on current exchange rates its an absolute bargain).
