Fabulous campsite within easy bus ride of Venice, and amazing value for money with ACSI. Reception sells Venice transportation cards (€30 per person for 2 days) and the bus stop is a 2 minute walk down the road.
The sanitary block was probably one of the best we have ever seen: very clean and nicely heated with well designed and spacious showers.
Many of the pitches are quite small or narrow, but are nicely separated by hedges and the site is well laid out. The only one thing we struggled with was finding drinking water.
Apart from the MH service point, there didn't seem to be any water taps anywhere so we (and lots of other people) were filling up water bottles etc. In the washing up area.

Easy access to Venice is the major benefit of this good quality site. Note however the bus to Venice although only five minutes away via a direct path to main road requires crossing a Dual Carriageway via a footbridge although lifts were present they were not working, those with mobility issues may find this a problem.
The buses are ~ 15 mins and run till late evening, cost 1. 5 Euro each way and tickets are available at site office. Daily Tickets for buses and vaporetti (water buses) can be bought on arrival (not at site) near the bus station, though 99% of Venice can actually be reached on foot. Daily Tickets include boats to Murano and Burano - islands worth a visit in the lagoon one day is 20 Euro, two day 30 Euro, three day 40 Euro.
There is a Lidl supermarket five minutes drive away.
The site (ACSI Card + 5% discount for cash) has a recently built toilet and shower block with good laundry facilities. The majority of visitors are in motorhomes and pitches in the original part of the site which are shaded are best suited to a single vehicle there are a number longer thin pitches.
Another part of the site has recently been added with larger newly laid pitches but the newly planted trees provide no shade, the site is well graveled throughout. Mosquitoes can be a nuisance, includes all of the Venice area. There is a restaurant/bar serving meals at reasonable prices.
Gondola`s we saw were 80 Euro`s (not including a serenade)for 30 mins, beware prices in the very popular areas and look for menu`s that state 'no cover charge' otherwise its not overly expensive.

You will need to follow the directions to site very carefully as there are many opportunities to take a wrong turn and end up in Mestre as we did.
The site is designed primarily for motorhomes, although caravans can easily be accommodated. Most of the pitches are long and thin which means that you have to put your car in front of the caravan. They are wide enough to accommodate a table and chairs but not an awning which isn’t a problem as most people seem to use the site for 3 or 4 days whilst visiting Venice.
The sanitary facilities are exceptional. More akin to a spa than a camp sanitary block. They are heated, immaculately tiled and so clean you could eat your lunch off the floor. There is also a spa and an indoor swimming pool that can be used for a small additional payment. There is a small restaurant/bar which also does takeaway dishes.
The bus stop for Venice is a 5min walk away and tickets can be purchased at reception. The bus takes you right into the main terminal for the vaporetto.
Excellent site, highly recommend if you are visiting Venice for a few days.
