Great wee campsite, super location. Well run.
Only thing is I would recommend you have rock pegs for pitching your tent as tent area is rather hard.
Remember your midge spray.

Difficult to rate this in comparison to other sites as it was by far the cheapest we have stayed on. So I will list the good and bad points.
Good.
Cheap at £15 per night for EHU 2 adults and 2 kids.
Friendly staff and neighbours.
Good views over Loch Doon
Bad.
No toilets or showers.
Low power to supply. Microwave, hairdryer, toaster would trip electrics.
Grey water disposal not accessible for motorhomes.
Remains of previous occupiers barbecue dumped on pitch.
Overall the site just seemed a little tired. A lot of older vans obviously pitched for the season in the pitches with the best views, and untended spaces between pitches. The road in is also single track that may be an issue for some.
Overall if you just need a base to explore the area its fine, but not somewhere I'd hurry back to

Everyone was friendly. Site is extremely basic, pitch sizes are fairly small and many on slopes.
There is running fresh water but no other facilities.
Would benefit from a play park for kids and a toilet block.

A perfectly placed little site literally a stones throw from the shore of loch doon, stunning scenery and easy access for some water sports. Last time we visited 3 years ago the showers and toilet block was not ready yet, it still isn't in fact its still not been started. For your £15 fee you get fresh water, EHU and waste disposal points. There are no play facilities for children on the site. There is a cafe 500m from the site that is open through the day.
If you want a place to go walking or cycling with great scenery and get away from it all, this could suit you. You are permitted to wild camp on the loch shores in smaller motor homes but not in caravans
