We were attending the Healing Festival, so wern't in the normal campsite area but in a side field with temporary electric hook up. The facilities were good but were also temporary as this field isn't generally used for camping, probably just once a year.

The pitches were a little small, our Saturn trailer tent and car only just fitted on the pitch. The staff were friendly and attentive. I would definitly go again.

A tent opposite us was damaged by the storm and was about to be swept away, I called the management who turned up, dismantled the damaged part of the tent and re secured the rest for which I congratulate them for their diligence.

The only down side was the grass had not been cut which, in the wet conditions, made things even harder.

On a side note, we were booked in for 3 nights but only stayed 2, the weather was so bad that the torrential rain and the 35 mph winds managed to soak the sleeping compartments and so we had to end the trip early.

My second year here to attend The Healing Weekend, which is just down the road.

There have been upgrades since last year with a permanent toilet and shower block and Elsan emptying point.

However, as there were well over 100 people camped for the weekend, using the showers was a challenge to say the least, and as it was a very hot weekend one needed to shower daily! I ended up showering literally in the middle of the night!

Disabled shower/loo was welcomed by someone who is very bad on her feet from time to time now. Loos on the field were much appreciated so there wasn't the hike up to the top of the lane to the block.

There were also showers on the field last year, and I think it would have improved things had they been there again this year.

Hook-up reliable and support staff second to none once again - couldn't do enough to help if asked :-) The shuttles laid on between the camp site and the event were also much appreciated as it's a fair old walk.

All in all, it was another really nice stay, in a pretty area, with a great holistic event tied in.

I will definitely be back next year once again.

I stayed on the back field behind the site as part of The Healing Weekend camping this year for the first time.

Facilities were good, access in and out was good, hook up only went blip once (due to someone's fairy lights would you credit it!) but was quickly sorted.

Great hosts and I had a great time both on site and at the weekend event.

I will be booking again for the same weekend in 2022

I'm afraid we didn't like this site very much.

Directions: from Highbridge, you need to take the road that isn't signed to anywhere. If you go as far as West Huntspill, like us, you must turn left at the end of the road. A landmark is a green coloured factory, turn right into Merry Lane just before here, then it's about 2 miles of quiet single track road. Of course, if you come the correct way, then it's left just after the bridge at Bason Bridge.

You come first to an appealing area which is being developed as a static site. The CL is beyond here, on grass with trees behind to the south. No chance of getting a Sky tv signal, I asked about this when booking "it's ok" was the answer. You are asked to call at the house first; nobody at home, so why?

5 vans in a row, with a little river across the road. Nowhere to walk dogs really. Recycling was ok, over near the house.

We found a good dog walk, south of Highbridge on the A38.

There are plenty of other sites in this area, would not stay here again. £13 per night is ok though.
