Kevin and Jenny have created an amazing oasis in Suffolk - just close your eyes and you are transported.
Stylish, retro airstream caravans and lovely individual touches which work really well, starting with the fairy lights along the drive.
Posh glamping showers and a great, safe place for kids to explore with trampoline and the 1950s army truck is a big winner.
Happy days is a great place to visit in a group (which we did) or as couples/families.
Friendly, welcoming and really original.
Happy days!

This has to be the most amazing site we have ever been on, we took our retro Eriba for 4 nights at the beginning of August. The owners Kevin and Jenny gave us the warmest welcome we have ever had, Kevin even helped us with our awning, the site itself is lovely and has everything you could wish for including campfires and sticks to toast marshmallows
The toilets and shower rooms are gorgeous and clean.
The area is lovely and peaceful unfortunately wasn't able to explore the area too much due to car trouble but we didn't mind as we were more than happy to sit on the campsite and admire the beautiful airstreams in the peace and quiet.

We spent a lovely week in cute Dee Dee. The caravan was spacious and well equipped with everything you need, even a DVD player, should the little ones get bored, although with a great play area, there's little chance of that. The site is small, but with only 5 retro caravans and a couple of pitches, it lent itself to the feel of an old-fashioned campsite where campers get to know each other and helped each other out. The play area was safe and fun with an old army lorry to play on, even in a different field, so peace for the olds! The showers are spotless, hot and huge and very retro. The owners are the loveliest people and were really helpful and by 10pm, with fairy lights twinkling, the site became silent as everybody slept. We wish the owners every success and thanks for a great holiday.

My husband and I spent a great couple of nights camping in our tent at Happy Days. There's a Tesco just inside town down the road from the site which was very handy. The hosts were very pleasant and attentive. The site was clean and comfortable. The toilets and showers were new and clean. We purchased some wood and enjoyed a fire in the provided firepit both nights. There were bbq pits on site for use as well. We had breakfast at Trinitys No. 14 in Saxmundham just down the road and it was pretty good. Your basic fry up. We enjoyed unplugging for a few days but we could tell if we had kids it was a trip they would have enjoyed too. Will keep this in our list.

We stayed on their opening weekend last weekend and had a fantastic time. I thought it might have been a bit cold in early May but the Airstreams are heated and we were really comfortable. The site is great, with lovely big clean shower rooms that we were able to take the kids into with us which is ideal. There are firepits and wood available so we sat with other visitors in the evening but each van has plenty of privacy too. We've booked to go again in September. We stayed in Annie which has 2 double beds and lots of storage although we didn't need much for just a weekend but would be good for a longer stay. There are DVDs and board games in the van and in the reception and the owners are really friendly and welcoming. The location is good, just over two hours from London and we went for a day to Southwold around half an hour away which has a great pier and good restaurants and cafes. There are other beaches within a 10 minute drive as well but we didn't check these out this time.
Highly recommend it and we are looking forward to visiting again.
