Lovely peaceful site. Rural surroundings.
The owners could not be more helpful and attentive.
Facilities are excellent and even with that said they have plans to improve on them.
Great for a few nights away from the world!

OK time to confess we have not actually stayed here, the reason? We have a house just down the road. We have bumped into several people who were staying here and they loved the place.
Guemene is a lovely little town just up the road which has a medium sized Intermarche which sells pretty much everything. It's a small medieval town with plenty of unspoilt buildings, the castle ramparts have been re done recently and they are doing up the massive medieval house in the middle of town.
As you come into town there are a couple of restaurants. The creperie and pizza place "Le Christy" are pretty good. In town is the Sabots Rouge which is run by a couple of brits. Another Creperie and le Trois Marchands - this is a stunning building with offers a full 4 course lunch for 12 Euros, enough to keep you going all day.
Ploerdut is another place to pop into, lovely little town centre with a couple of bars and restaurants.
Make sure you visit Pontivy for it's castle and major shops. Super you on the way in is good for shopping.
Also be sure to visit Lac De Guerledan a great freshwater lake for swimming and canoeing.
If you are staying here and heading into Guemene, when you are at the t junction at the bottom of the hill (Pont Tichot) if there is a UK reg VW Transporter parked to your right we are in residence!

If you like small sites this is the one for you. A large field attached to farm house with EHU, toilet, shower and washing up facilities. Perfect for us but there may be queuing if the site is full. There was also a very small swimming pool but didn't use it as the weather had changed and was cool and rained frequently during our stay. The English couple who own the site gave us a very warm welcome on arrival and were helpful on local information. The bread ordering facility was useful as it is a mile or so to the nearest bakery.
With an abundance of quiet minor roads in the area we found the cycling to be very safe. Lots of small villages to visit and fairly close to larger towns such as Pontivy.
Feeding the piglets with leftover food is not to be missed.
Would definitely return if visiting the area again

We were looking for a campsite not too far from Pontivy and came across Camping Keronnes near Guemene sur Scorff. The owners, Jeanette and Rick were very responsive when we placed our booking with them and even offered to come to Guemene to guide us in just in case we couldn't find the site. We didn't have to call upon their services in the end as we found it straight away.
It is a lovely campsite, mainly flat however so peaceful with the owners chickens wandering around and only a few minutes drive from Guemene sur Scorff and approximately 10 minutes from Ploerdut.
We hadn't realised it was a new site when we booked, however as we were in a motorhome we only needed fresh water and elsan facilities. The toilet block is in the processing of being renovated, however there is a new small pool available. The site is well kept with lots of EHU points and the owners were flexible about us choosing where we wanted to park.
Jeanette and Rick were lovely and very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. As they used to own their own motorhome, they fully understand the requirements of their customers.
Also as we were their first customers, they came to celebrate with us with a bottle of bubbly and glasses. They know the area well so they were really helpful with our many questions.
The town of Guemene sur Scorff is really pretty and has so much history with its many bars and restaurants. It's not large, however it has quite a few shops with the larger supermarket being on the edge of the town.
Pontivy is much larger and not too far from the site.
Definitely would recommend this site, not just for its tranquillity and location but for the lovely warm response and friendliness of its owners, Jeanette and Rick Williams.
