Lovely campsite, nice clean toilets and showers. Lots of friendly people on site.
We were on a sloped plot but that didn't spoil our weekend. We were struggling to find somewhere to take 4 adults and 1 teenage child, the owner did all he could to get us a plot.
We are very grateful for that. Really enjoyed our weekend!
Definitely recommend this site.

Good size level pitch for our van and awning, nice rural environment spoilt by traffic noise on A380.
Very surprised that this site was deemed suitable to open in the present covid climate. At full capacity which it was Friday/ Saturday there was never going to be enough toilet and washing facilities on site ?? 1 male 1 female toilet (unventilated) 2 hit and miss water temp showers. And sink for hand washing and a washing up area Adjacent to each other in a narrow corridor ! ( they soap dispenser was mt by 4 on sat afternoon and stayed that way until the next day)
No social distancing in place within the toilet block as it was to narrow or in the q outside ?? Even pre covid the facilities are poor for the amount of people at full capacity ?? T
Here seems to be some talk of a new toilet block being built but there was little evidence of this.
Could be a really nice little site but for the toilets !

What a great find, absolute bargain as well!
Lovely little site with plenty of facilities, nice level pitches all with water and electric. Lovely woodland walk and stream down bottom of field.
Will come again.

We chose this campsite recommended by our daughter who had stayed here a few weeks before and was very impressed. We found it to be very friendly and quiet with lovely views of the countryside. It is a small, new site with very friendly and helpful owners who are always on hand if you need anything. We liked being able to pitch up two tents side by side one electric and one non electric.
There is a sandpit and swings in the centre of the site so the children can play freely and you are able to see them from your tent and know that they are in sight and safe at all times.
There are 3 toilets, two washing sinks, one washing up sink and one shower. The facilities are new and clean with hot running water and another shower will be added soon, as this is a new site. We did find though that it served everyone fine as this is a small campsite.
There is a good selection of sweets, soft drinks and handy useful items (batteries, hairbrushes, plasters etc) for sale by vending machines and honesty box. We were glad to use the fridge freezer for the ice blocks.
There are easy to use recycling bins.
There is a slight slope on the lower main area, but this was not a problem for us and again they are looking to level this over the winter. Lovely campsite excellent value will definitely go back again!

Good small site, facilities being expanded as I write. Grandchildren loved play area just in front of tent, site set on quiet road out of town so child and dog friendly, but Newton Abbott just 5 mins away so all major shops close. Excellelent base for East Devon exploration be it inland or coastal. Peaceful place to relax and watch the sun go down with someone you love.
