 This is a fabulous small site, a bit like a CS/ CL on the edge of the village, less than 10 minutes walk to the town square, 2 minutes to the promenade and there are restaurants and a shop within 1 minute.
Pitches are all on grass (good firm standing) with electric. Water fill and empty, chem disp available. Free wifi on site, showers / loos inside a former granary building which is being restored. Washing machine, washing up and hand wash all available.
A very clean and tidy site, we stayed two nights / 3 days and the family were constantly cleaning and working on the facilities.
The village is worth a visit, town square, castle, cathedral and at least 30 art / craft shops. There are a good many street / market type traders selling gifts, clothes and souvenirs. The river has a cycle walking path and several river cruise boats which tour up and down the river.
We paid £12 per night all in - an absolute bargain. The family are incredibly friendly and helpful would recommend this site as a really great place to stop for a few days.
