Can't give a good review I'm afraid. We were here 10 years ago and nothing has improved. Indeed, standards have slipped. I am allowing for the end of the season, even so, it's really scruffy.

Uncut grass, weeds and bushes unkempt, general air of complacency. Mens toilet block was clean, but lighting was just the emergency type with the lights in the shower cubicles not working so scrub by feel only.

Almost all the toilets that I saw were hanging of the wall at a precarious angle making it an interesting experience.

Finally, of the two motorhome service points, one had the gray waste drain blocked and the chemical disposal too, very unpleasant. Love Amsterdam but won't be going here again.

We have just four nights at this campsite, we enjoyed very much, there were trees, open spaces, and water, we decided to have a hard standing. We have an eight metre unit and we did not encounter any problems.

On arrival the reception staff were fabulous, everybody spoke very good English. And were knowable for all things Dutch, there were bikes to rent although we didn’t use them.

Toilets and wash up were spotless.

There was noise from the airport, this was not intrusive.

On the site there were caravans and pods to rent.

The site is very big, so you are not cramped, I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

I stayed here for two nights in July 2015, the site is a large, well organised site situated to the south east of Amsterdam. There are very good transport links to the city, using a combination of bus, tram and metro or bus and train via the airport.

On arrival at the site I was advised of the transport options available and also that there were pushbikes available for hire.

There are different areas within the site to suit all sorts of campers from young groups to families and the more mature citizens, with freedom to choose for yourself which area to pitch in.

Plenty of facilities all over the site are well maintained and very clean, the showers requiring a token to operate available from reception/shop.

The electric hook-up was very stable and the site wide Wi-Fi was somewhere between average and non-existent depending on your proximity to the reception building.

I did not see any play areas on site but there seemed to be a lot of space on the site so maybe there are some dedicated areas which I did not see.

The shop on site is quite expensive as there seems to be nothing else available locally, that I could find anyway, but there are probably some shops in the nearest town to suit most requirements.

Price wise, I thought it was reasonable considering the size of the site and the facilities available.
