 Excellent location on the banks of the Nekker river with a thrice hourly No 35 bus service to Heidelberg from the campsite entrance.

Nice welcome and the facilities are ok. Found that when I could connect (ok on laptop and android but not so successful with iPad) the internet is fair.

There’s a reasonably well stocked Rewe supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away and a train station 10 minutes walk away. Aldi is 5 minutes drive on the other side of the river.

As far as visiting Heidelberg is concerned perhaps a day and a half is long enough.

In May the nightly rate with ehu was a bit eye watering at 35eu and it’s cash or bank transfer only.

 Excellent site

Good facilities

Great location

Would have stayed longer but already booked and paid for a site in Luxembourg.

Will definitely return when in the area again.

 Great location for visiting Heidelberg, right next to the river with a bus stop right outside where 3 buses an hour take you into city centre. Helpful friendly staff who speak good English. Pitches aren't marked up so difficult to get much privacy but we had nice neighbours! Sanitary block could do with some modernisation but was clean and Toilet paper provided. Wifi €1 for 6 hours. River boats are noisy on weekend but all in all we enjoyed our 2 night stay with our dog (who was free!)
