We liked the great view of the sea, the nature around, adventure and fishing at the beach.
Our pitch was less windy as others on this campsite and everywhere around. A lot of space in front of our pitch.
We didn't reach to get wifi. Cleaning doesn't often happen, I think the most people use their own (the most part are mobile homes). Once the cleaning plan was updated for the last days.
A part of the coast (big as a caravan) felt down when the boys were there.
The street to arrive there is rather narrow and in bad condition.

I have wrote many reviews on this place but I'm always very reluctant as I would like to keep it all to myself lol
My family and I love this place so much it's been a safe haven for our children and a calm and easy going place for us to have a break.
The people who run and work here are fantastic with a great attitude each and every person has a vital role to play and it shows. Even the people who holiday here I found to be helpful and friendly. Its picturesque and with short walks into laysdown it's perfect.
There are a number of different places to see on the island I would advise you see them all the kids love collecting shells and exploring the woods and visiting the club house to do club esp arts and crafts or colouring.
Food is great and affordable the shower blocks and toilets clean it has well maintained grounds and is all round a great find and we have tried many.
We will continue to holiday here. A BIG thank you warden bay for another great summer.

Great views of the sea from the touring pitches, friendly staff.
Only a short walk down to the beach via either a steep slippery path down the cliffs or a 10 minute walk through the woods and onto a gravel road.
Clean showers/ toilets accessed via a keypad door lock( just don't look up whilst in there. The largest spider ive ever seen lives by the strip light in the toilet block lol).
Small club/ bar on sight, children's play ground and swimming pool on site too.
It can get windy on the touring pitches as you are on a cliff top( the pitches divided by conifers do a good job of blocking the wind), and most of the pitches are not level, so levelling block may be needed( remember you are on a cliff top).
Stayed on site Tuesday to sunday and it was quite on site the whole stay.
The only real negatives I have is the approach road to the site is quite pot holed on the last 200 yards to the site entrance, and the brambles sticking out of the conifer hedge touring pitch dividers ( that would have taken ten minutes to prune off), and Boris the spiders cobwebs in the toilet/ shower block.
Would I stay there again. 100% YES

Arrived here at midnight having been let down badly by another campsite, and left stranded with no refund/assistance, and a disabled child who needed desperately to get a bed for the night.
When I pulled up and explained the predicament we were in, the security man immediately rang his boss, despite it being the middle of the night, and had put us in a caravan, sorted bedding etc and told us not to worry, get some sleep and come to reception in the morning and we will try to help you, all within ten minutes max.
In the morning we went to reception, and after hearing that the campsite we had booked had issues that meant we could not stay there, and had not refunded us, we were given two weeks in a static caravan at a massive discount (£300 for two weeks - should have been £960!) because they didn't want to see our summer holiday ruined.
I honestly cannot thank them enough for this act of kindness, as without them I would have had to return home. My children would have been broken hearted, as I would not have been able to afford an alternative holiday.
I note that many of the negative reviews about this site are quite old, so maybe things have improved?
I wouldn't choose this location again, as it turns out that the Isle of Sheppey is just not for me, but can't hold the site responsible for that!
The pool is small, but never really too crowded, as many people go out each day to the nearby beaches etc. It is clean and warm, and the pool area is well cared for and very pleasant.
The shop only sells sweets snacks etc, but there are shops within 5 minutes drive.
Didnt use the bar or restaurant, so I cant comment on these.
I found every staff member I encountered courteous, friendly and helpful, and the lifeguards are very cheerful and great with the kids.
There are fantastic sea views at the bottom of the site, and a lovely wooded area at the top, great for walking the dogs.
The site can get a bit noisy at the weekend, but quietens down before midnight, and we certainly weren't disturbed by any noisy parties. I felt the atmosphere was laid back and pleasant.
As I say, had it not been for the owners kindness in giving us a £600ish discount, our holiday would have been ruined. The place was pretty well vooked up, so she did this purely out of the goodnes of her heart.
In short, lovely site, great staff, and a fantastic summer holiday. I cannot thank Warden Springs highly enough

Very good site. Slight hills. Good toilets. Showers nice. Quiet place.
I will go again soon. I had 5 nights there.
I went for the round the island sailing race and enjoyed it. There are shop on site, pub on site, swimming pool on site, children's play areas on site, games area on site. There are cliffs when dry, no rain you can climb down and up, I did it at 77years. I liked it.

Just got back from a week at warden springs in our conway hard top. Pitches very small and the hedges separating the pitches are very overgrown. Kids entertainment very poor. Never used the pool as other campers said the sea was warmer!. Toilets need checking more often as they are cleaned in the morning and by the end of the afternoon they are a mess with loo roll all over the floor. Shop opening hours pretty grim for high season. Pitches are very uneven with a slope and dips in them. Lots of kids around on bikes who seem to like dumping them anywhere like in the shop doorway or even the road. Kids playing in the chemical disposal area was not good either. Wont go back as they seem more towards the statics as the touring areas are very untidy with rubbish everywhere.

His is our second holiday at Warden Springs, and sadly will be our last. We were looking at purchasing a static caravan with park resorts, however our experience has made us consider shopping around, before we make our choice. Amongst the list of concerns, we arrived at 12:15 to be told our arrival pack wasn't ready and that they only open at 13:00. Our letter showed 12:00. Your staff was helpful and friendly, and assisted us. We got to our site and the electrics were faulty. A phone called assured us that the electrician will be there in 20 minutes. Almost 4 hours later it was sorted. The toilets in the gents were really clean however the hot water took ages to come on. In the Ladies there was a problem with the water flow and no hot water. The following day, the ladies water flow was corrected but no hot water. These may be considered small complaints, however this is not the kind of service we have found in the past and seeing that this compares to comments on other sites has motivated our decision to look elsewhere.

We were on the smallest pitch I had ever seen - we took our small awning with us and only just managed to get it in the pitch I feel it was a fire hazard - no way could you get the required distance between units, we couldn't park near our pitch as the tenters opposite decided they would use every available inch of space to play football and kick the ball against the van and crash there bikes into the van
Our pitch had had some sort of problem - that was obvious by the dirty toilet paper stuffed in the hedge on our pitch, the tape that was flapping that had obviously been used to tape our pitch off and the overflowing drainage on our pitch
Nothing to do locally
On site shop had nothing in it
Opposite to us had been a cliff slip that they were trying to fill in and put people on the pitches
No access to the beach
Food appalling Yuck
Never again for this site

Warden springs. Its hard to know what to say really because whilst booking your break to warden, you have already read that its a small site. It as a club house which is petite, a swimming pool which is just as petite, a kids playground which shouldnt use the word 'adventure' in its description due to lack of variety. There is a sports cout for the kids to play football/basketball which is ok. A laundrette which could be handy. They quote that leysdown beach is 15 mins walk away. Its not, it takes a bit longer to get there then that, & the route through their woods is rough going with no clear path, stinger netals everywhere & ditches to cross. The big letdown for us was the lack of cleanleness in the caravan, the blinds & the carpets were very dirty, the caravan was nice but not comfortable due to this, they need cleaning a lot better. The staff were friendly & polite which was good though. The entertainment duo were good too, Elvis night was very amusing. If you decide to come here, understand there's not loads to do but for a short break with the kids you could do worse.
