Awesome campsite. Nice host as well

Only thing was toilets too far away and shower was very slow and not much power

But all in all was very happy, oh and awesome log fire on a night👍🏻

It's now called Lady Edith's holiday park.

It's a lovely family holiday park that's in the middle of being developed, it's clubhouse is spacious and well stocked,

Showers and toilets are clean. Showers are token ran and are free from reception/clubhouse.

Lovely seating area and like I said being developed things like children's playarea not quite finished but lots of grassy area for kids to kick about and play.

Cannot wait to go back. Quiet and friendly campsite. Reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and nothings too much.

Bonus as well, local Chinese delivers to site so that was a lovely treat once we had set up tent.

Would highly recommended and we will definitely be going back.

We were very disappointed with the site.

The web site and reviews seemed good but when we arrived we felt the site resembled a junk yard with old tractors/ diggers and stored vans haphazardly parked around.

The facilities were old port-a-cabins with no individual sinks although always kept very clean. We understand

Row Brow is close to Scarborough ( approx a mile to the town centre) but feels a million miles away !

It’s basic but clean- Site managers were friendly and helpful -

Having some work done whilst we were there as needed changes/ improvements (under new management ) - all I would say is the 3 ladies toilets should be allocated to men as they have urinals in ! Would make more sense to have the ladies toilets next to the single shower on the electric field

Firstly, David who runs this site is an absolute legend.

Heads-up there's only a 10AMP/2300W supply to hookups.

The site itself was a bit hidden up a single track, is rough and ready (just an open field). We were prepared for most of the roughness, (portacabin facilities/taking hot water from toilet block to use at washing up station/very muddy if wet weather), however, we were not prepared for the lack of power supply.

We'd booked an electric pitch but were not aware that the supply would not support our camping stove or whatever everyone else was using. Consequently poor David has a daily/nightly battle of sorting blown fuses, sometimes leaving us without power for the night.

If you're prepared for this, Row Brow is the perfect location. They have big development plans for this place, so I'm going to keep an eye out over the next year - if the electrics can be improved - we'll definitely be back.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and had a great time. You get a fantastic warm welcome from Dave and Annmarie, who are always around with a smile and helpful information.

There is plenty of space to spread out as it is a large field on a working farm. The site has basic facilities but everything you need.

If you like the manicured, souless campsites that seem to be everywhere these days then this probably isn't for you but if you like space, relaxation, excellent customer service, a laid back atmosphere and a little bit of character then give it a go.

There are lovely woodland walks from the bottom of the drive and we easily explored the coastal area on the bus.

Friendly site, not too crowded with clean toilets. Good for families for a short stay.

Open space with good distance between tents.

Close to Scarborough beach and other attractions.

A bit basic with a rough access road but great for access to Scarborough. Strange location of shower block.

Pitches are generally not flat enough. Adequate cleanliness. Poor water pressure frustrates washing.

Daily visits from site peacocks a pleasant surprise. Site preferable to others in the area as there is plenty of space.

If owners would update facilities, would visit again.

Very basic although does have toilet and shower facilities. A gentleman who greeted us wasn’t the nicest and had a go at us for pitching in a different place (we overpaid actually). The ground was so wet- cars were getting stuck.

Drove past it off the Lady Edith’s Drive. The sign isn’t very visible.

Paid over £40 for two nights. Overall okay but wouldn’t be coming back.
