Due to the time of year a very quiet site and while the pool was open the café/restaurant wasn’t.
Large pitches with little shade in one part of the site with a gate opening onto the coastal path and smaller shaded pitches in another.
We stayed in the open area where there were conveniently sited power and water points.
Nice toilet block with old fashioned taps and plenty of hot water. The toilet and shower cubicles were larger than on many sites we’ve stayed in. The services were kept very clean.
There was a strong signal from the free wifi and we were able to stream.
The historic town of Vilanova de Arousa was a 10 minute flat walk from the site. As mentioned the gate gave direct access to the path which forms part of the Camino road so many pilgrims pass.
From the town there’s a limited bus service up and down the coast and we did enjoy a few hours in Cambados which we reached by bus 3. 10 euros for 2 people each way. A taxi would have been around 13 euros each way.
The people in the Tourist Information Office on the front were helpful.
Little in the way of shops but a 10 minute walk from the site is an Eroski Center.
Stayed here in May/June when we arrived everything just opening up, pool and bar not open but toilets and showers very clean so we decided to stay. Nothing was a problem staff very helpful. Site next to beach, Eroski supermarket just up the road a few bars and restaurants in walking distance. You can walk into town by the beach about 15 mins. When we left pool was open very clean and the last day the new bar was opening which looked very good.
Site itself has some shady pitches which were too small for our motor home so we went onto the big field which had little shade but we wanted the sun being British. Water and electric on our pitch by the gate which lead onto the beach.
We did get a bus into Santiago de compostella but a lot of changing buses and they were not very regular.
