There are several pitching aspects to this site. Comfort pitches (we call them serviced pitches in the UK), where there are sizes to accommodate 1 or 2 or 3 units depending on size of pitch.
I have to say that the surface for almost all of these pitches was extremely poor, with some pitches hardly having any grass at all, just a mixture of sand mixed in a clay like soil. Considering this was early in the season then things will not improve during the rest of the year.
There is also TV reception point on each bollard. There is also a large oval field which is for those units not having a comfort pitch. This actually seemed in better condition than the comfort ones. It can't have helped matters that the comfort pitches had trees overhanging and bushes and hedges that were badly in need of maintenance and trimming back.
There is as reported on the previous review an area just outside and to the back of reception for Motorhomes.
The sanitary block was functional and clean and just about supplied sufficient hot water. There are laundry facilities with modern machines and even a dish cleansing machine.
There are chalets at the rear of the site for hire and play area is as described in the previous review.
There is a bar and cafe which seemed adequate and the staff on reception were extremely friendly and helpful. In fact they were the best thing about the site.
Cycling maps are handed out at reception and cycling is good in the area. There is a caravan dealership about 5 miles westwards down the motorway that will provide emergency needs. Supermarkets were found in nearby Scheemda.
We're unlikely to visit the area again but I would personally look for an alternative as the site gives the impression of slow decline.

Large family campsite with several different pitching areas separate by trees and hedges. Outside the site there is a motorhome area called the Camper Boulevard, small hard standing pitches but with the full facilities of the site but slightly cheaper.
All pitches in both areas have ehu, wifi and water. The showers / loos are in the main camping area as are the washing up and laundry facilities.
At reception there is a small shop and a cafe, also a children's waterpark with slides and ziplines crossing a shallow man-made lake area.
About 10-15 minutes walk into the town which has several cafes and a few shops. Cycle paths criss cross the area many leading to the lake which hosts many sporting facilities. The site if 10-12 miles from the German border making it an ideal base to visit both countries.
Staff in reception were very helpful and spoke good English. We paid €13. 90 per night for 2 adults incl ehu, wifi etc - great site would use again
