 This is a typical small French camp site, with pitches set between trimmed hedges, all neat and tidy. Many of the pitches now have permanent caravans and although there were plenty of available camping pitches in June, I would imagine it would be full in the high season and probably best to book.
For us this was an excellent location, in one direction being very close to the small port, which has a selection of eateries, and in the other direction, the small village centre with essential shops - boulanger, boucherie, a MiniU (which is open all day), and a market area. Also, a 2 minute walk from the site will find you on the beach.
The toilet shower block is set out with showers/loos facing outwards (men/woman not separated), and all have been refurbished/tiled and are kept very clean. The only thing they don’t appear to have is an elsan disposal point, although I noticed people were using the loos to empty their toilet tanks. The other difficulty for campervans is the freshwater tap is around the back of the toilet block, however, the owner said he would be able to help us use a tap at the front of the block where we would be able to drive alongside. The owners are very nice and speak good English.
