 We arrived on site to find our name and pitch number already up on the board next to the farm gate, which really helped.
What a lovely location, so relaxing out in the countryside.
Hardly any traffic noise.
The level electric pitches are quite sheltered, spacious, all in a line facing west, which was spot on for the evening sunshine and sunsets.
Facilities are minimal, just electric hook up, fresh water and chemical disposal point.
Next to the farm gate is a shed with bins in for rubbish.
We saw the friendly campsite owners, often working on their farm, but couldn't catch them to pay, so we phoned them, then popped down to their home in Moor lane to pay our dues, (the home directly behind the pitches is not to do with the campsite as we first thought. )
There are lambs in the fields around the farm.
Listen out for an owl, pheasants, woodpecker and a cockerel.
It was an ideal base to visit Rye, Camber Sands, Dungeness was an interesting and popular area, also Hythe, Folkestone and for visiting the White Cliffs of Dover.
We loved it there and would definitely go back when we are in the area again.
Note the Campsite is NOT down (narrow) Moor Lane, it is just past it.
Shops and bus stops were a distance away.
