Secluded CL just a mile away from Fowey, the roads are a little narrow so take care when walking to the town, either via the ferry road, or up over the hill which brings you almost to the centre.
It is surrounded by mature trees so there is a choice of shaded & sunnier pitches to suit all preferences, Sarah the owner will let you know whats available for the dates you require.
Fully serviced with plenty of space on the h/s and surrounded by grass for the dogs. Free wifi, and the electric is metered but you have the option to not use it and just use your gas/solar panel.
Sarah is very friendly, and so is her gorgeous pup, Cookie, also allowed us to stay an hour longer so we didn't have to find somewhere to park up whilst waiting to access our next site on the tour -
Would definitely return

We stayed at Fowey CL at the end of July 2017. It is one of the nicest sites we have stayed on, and hope to return for another visit next year. David and Sarah were very friendly and helpful, even going as far as lending me their spare hookup cable until I could purchase one when I realised that I had left mine at home. The site itself is very sheltered from the wind, but still seems to get plenty of sunlight to pitches 2, 3 and 4. Pitches 1 and 5 are in shade for most of the day. Waste disposal is convenient without being too close to the pitches, and there is plenty of tourist info in a cupboard next to the bin area. The walk to and from Fowey is as described in the site listing. The roads are narrow with lots of bends and you need to take care, particularly if you have young children with you. I can't recommend this CL highly enough if you like peace and quiet.

This is an attractive CL with terraced level pitches each with its own water tap to connect to, electricity and a cable for satellite TV connection. Set amongst wonderful mature trees the pitches are at the foot of the grounds of Lescrow House where The owners, David and Sarah live. David provided excellent direction to the site avoiding the worst pinch points withe routing through Par. Drainage is excellent on granit chipping making up the hard standings.
It is not far to walk into the north end of Fowey along Passage Lane. There is no footpath so care needs to be taken. We have friends in Fowey who took us for dinner at the Sunny Spice Indian Resteraunt which specialises in fish dishes. Goan Fish curry was the best curry I have ever tasted.
This gem of a CL site is very close to the town and we will be returning. There are no showers or toilets but there is free wifi.

Quite a nice little site but with too many tall trees which blocked out the sun on our pitch for most of the afternoon, and rather tight access off the road to the ferry. As said, the owner is lovely and is continually making improvements and is open to suggestions, so here's hoping he does something about the trees which could also be dangerous in windy conditions. We found the whole area to be a bit 'cramped' for us and dog friendly beaches which are any good are limited.
There is a shop which sells essentials up the 2nd turn right from the site, otherwise the nearest supermarket is Tesco at St. Austell, a few miles away along a busy road. St. Austell centre is nothing to write home about. Try the Bodinnick ferry, there are interesting places like Polruan, and you could go as far as Polperro or Looe.
£15 per night a little excessive we thought.

Have just spent 3 weeks at Fowey CL. We found the owners to be very accommodating allowing us to park our 2nd car & boat at their house just up the lane and phoning the evening prior to our arrival to advise us the pitch would be available from 7am. The site access is a bit tight but nothing too difficult and you get ample warning you are approaching the entrance. Although it was the only pitch free when we arrived a name plate directed us to our pitch which was flat and level and easy accommodated our 7. 5 meter van and full size awning with a nice grass area to sit on at the side of the awning. Water and electricity is provided for each pitch. We were unable to get any decent TV signal via our van aerial but the owner has also provided a satellite TV connection to each pitch. He will even provide you with a decoder box if required. We found the free WIFI to be excellent
My wife and kid were able to watch films with out problems. The owner is in the process of building a shed to house bins and equipment his attention to detail shows the passion and pride he has for his CL. The owners will always introduce themself to new arrivals during the first few hours.
The site is with in a 10 minute walk of Fowey although there is no footpath we didn't find this a problem even with 2 children and a dog. Fowey is a lovely cornish coastal village with lots of interesting shops, galleries and eateries with lovely views.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this well maintained lovingly operated site to anybody wanting to visit Cornwall.

We stayed for two nights at the begining of August, The directions were great, The 5 pitches were all lovely and spacious. Two which were hard standing, with a lovely grassy area around them. The site is surrounded with lovely mature trees, which although gave some shade in the early morning and late evening, sheltered the site from any wind. The walk into Fowey is along a main road in and out of Fowey (Cornish Road) with no lighting. This does get narrow at times, but the cars all seemed to respect us as walkers. It took us about 20 mins to walk in. Take a torch to come back. Or a taxi (the owners were making enquiries with the local taxi firms for a set price in and back). There is electric and water all very conveniently placed, and a black water waste disposal. Our two well behaved dogs were very welcome, and although there are no facilities for children, we would have taken ours there when they were young, as we felt it was quite safe for them to roam around the site. This is the closest campsite to Fowey, and we will definitely stay there again.

This is a new site, which is very well thought out. Level pitches, set in a wooded area away from the road. 3/4 mile from Fowey, I think it's the nearest camp site to Fowey. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the site and extended our stay. Took about 15 mins to walk into Fowey which is a lovely quaint town with lots of independent shops and eateries. It was nice to go shopping at proper bakeries, fishmongers and grocers. Fowey does have a co-op supermarket as well though. We visited the Eden Project from this site, it was fantastic and very easy to get to as are the hidden gardens at Heligan.
We hope visit this lovely site and area soon.
