 Set just off the D115 that goes up the valley, this is a delightful site in the foothills of the Pyrenees. While we were there the site was busy installing more statics; there seemed to be relatively few touring pitches; we were offered a choice of four, which for May was busy.
The setting is beautiful, with views up the valley to the peaks around Canigou. There was still snow showing. The area is noted for cherries; Ceret has a fabulous modern art museum. Just below the site there is access to a voie vert cycle track along a former railway.
The site is well appointed, with clean modern loos, though many are à la turque. One is a kid's bathroom, with mini WC and changing table. There's a communal games room with fast wifi; and an active petanque league. The atmosphere is very clubbable. A good heated pool.
Directions in the ACSI guide are a little misleading. It tells you to take the D15 and follow signposts - if coming from the east, be aware the D15 loops round to rejoin the D115, and you'll need to take the second junction. The first one would take you up a narrow mountain road to the village of Reynes, past signs saying 'No wild caravanning', to a roundabout and bus stop. Or so we found.
