The site has a variety of different sized pitches, most separated by hedges, with plenty of trees for shade. It’s worth having a look around before booking in, as some of the pitches had no grass even early in June.
There is a children’s play area, a small restaurant where you can buy ice creams and order bread etc for the morning, a barbecue area and adult exercise machines.
The sanitaires are the cleanest I’ve ever seen on a campsite, they were absolutely spotless!
Turn right from the site to walk into the pretty village of Loupian, or left to the small Roman villa museum, both just a few mins away.
The nearby town of Mèze has supermarkets, restaurants and an attractive harbour.
This was the most expensive of the 11 sites we’ve stayed at so far this year - €15. 82 for 2 people with a small tent and a motorbike - but I guess you pay more for being near the coast, and it’s a pleasant site.

Friendly young lady on reception who speaks good English.
Push button tap to fill aquaroll took ages.
We had a good size shady pitch, it was very hot.
Restaurant was poor, I had moules, they were all tiny and grey looking, not plump and yellow. My wife had a burger which came with green beans OR chips,
Bread available to order
With ACSI €14. 40.

There is very little to add to the reviews.
It is scrupulously clean, even around the dustbins. The hot(?) water could be better. But it appeared someone had complained about the high temperature the week before and the thermostat was lowered.
There is a good bistro/restaurant on site at extremely reasonable.
The voie vert runs into Meze which has been tastefully improved since our previous visit. The promenade area around the Place des Tonneliers is wonderful.
In the opposite direction the cycle path goes past Bouziges and onto Baraluc le vieux where there is an enormous Carrefour/Commercial centre. It then continues onto Sete.
The only downside is that the wi-fi is now run by the company Osmozis at stupidly expensive rates.
Fear not, just follow the cyclepath right into the port of Meze and the tourist office provides a free, unlimited service.
We will return.

This is the 4th time we've been to this site. It's the last site we stay at before the trek back up north on the A75 and very conveniently placed for that. It's a municipal site, which accepts the ACSI card and at €13 per night + tourist tax very good value. The part of the site on the left and behind the entrance have a lot of trees and is quite dark. The other side has a lot less trees and more of an open feel to it. One part backs onto tennis courts. It's a quiet site, at least when we were there, no busy road near it.
Toiletblock is very clean and has plenty of showers/toilets etc, no loo paper though in common with a lot of French sites. Reception speak English. There is a barrier and the site was closed for lunch from 12-4 when we were there, but it appeared that someone lived on site, because people did arrive during that time. What time it's closed for lunch in high season I don't know.
The village itself is quite nice and within walking distance, a bit further afield is Meze, which is quite busy with the main road going through it, but which has a nice market, and the harbour area is lovely.
As we like cycling, part of the reason for choosing this site is that there is a cyclepath within a couple of hundred yards of it. In one direction you can cycle to Meze, and beyond on quiet roads (we cycled on to Pinet and Pomerols), and in the other direction you can cycle to Bouzigues and further on to Balaruc-les-Bains. There is a supermarket in Meze, which is also quite easy to get to by bike if you don't have a car.

And eighteen months later that last report is still spot on. Has only one other person found this little site? I would have thought there would be dozens of complimentary reports about this one. It's so near the busy main road along the coast but so separate - and so convenient to visit Sete, Bouzigues and Meze. And of those three we liked best the waterfront / harbour side of Meze, just along the road.
So an ideal little municipal site, well run, English spoken in reception, free wi fi there, clean, efficient, value for money, no need to book, stay as long or as little as you like - all the freedoms that caravan touring in the UK used to have. Certainly going back there.

This is a cracking little municipal site, slightly off the beaten track. With good sized pitches, bounded by tall hedges that provide useful dappled shade. As the hedges have been trimmed back, it gives a coppice feel, like a hedge on tall poles. Two toilet blocks, cleaned scrupulously every morning. Reception very friendly. A little road noise from the lane that leads to Loupian village, but nothing too bad. Free wifi near reception - the antenna is at the back of the building. It was knocked out by the breeze while we were there, but reception reset it and it worked OK.
The site is by the entrance to the village, with code-operated barrier. It backs onto the village sports ground, and is about 500m from the Roman villa museum. There is a cycle track just outside, a former railway line, that goes to Mèze one way, and the shellfish centre of Bouzigues in the other. The village has a couple of shops including bakery; supermarket and fuel, banks, etc at Mèze, 5mins drive.
Onsite seafood cafe, family-run by local producers, runs lunchtimes and evenings; the wine mostly comes from a local artisan producer - we visited for a tasting, while they were bottling up a consignment. And beer from the local microbrewery. All the dishes displayed on chalkboards, gives a 'seafood shack' vibe.
Highlight of our stay was the morning visits by a hoopoe, and hearing the call of the golden oriole in the canopy - never got to see it though.
ACSI €14 - good value. If there was a pool, this would be perfect!
