We spent two nghts here and really enjoyed the location. We had tried a couple of sites nearer Annecy but there was no availability. This was cheaper, with lake access for swimming just a short walk (and we could take the dog swimming from there which would not have been allowed on the sites with direct lake access). The site is set a little back from the lake so does get some road noise and is just off a cycle track which goes all the way to Annecy along the lake - I think it is about 5km but a very easy cycle. There is a Carrefour supermarket within a short walk as well as a Lidls.
The pitches were a reasonable size with good shade and very flat with closely cut grass. The toilet blck was large, clean but was a bit dated. You could order bread from the bar which also served some food (we did not try). There was a motor home service point near reception. There was a good children's play area backing on to a field for ball games or whatever.
We would have stayed longer but were booked on a site in the Tarn and had to leave for this booking. It was reasonably priced but best of all was the cycle track and nearby lake swimming. We are planning to return to this site.
We returned to this site in September and to our surprise found it busier than in June, but there was still plenty of space and despite the lateness of the season the welcome, facilities etc were just as good.
The additional benefit now is that the boucherie/charcuterie and restaurant next to the Carrefoir supermarket that is very near the campsite are now open. The boucherie/charcuterie was selling excellent produce and the restaurant has a novel concept of a help yourself buffet which includes chosing and grilling your own main courses. It was all great fum with excellent food.
We moved onto this site after being unhappy with our pitch at another site further up the lake.
A lovely site in peaceful surroundings. Pitches are large and flat with good access. Toilet facilities a little outdated but very clean and plenty of hot water. Plenty of water points at the end of each row of pitches. The staff were excellent and cheerfully came out to sort out the loss of power to our pitch at 10. 00pm at night (due to an electrical storm).
Good motorhome point with easy access for water/waste/toilet emptying near the entrance to the site.
Easy access to the cycle path directly form the site and a public beach nearby. Carrefour supermarket and a restaurant a short walk away and other shops etc very near. Bus service to Annecy on the main road but the bus stop was a bit of a walk away.
A site we would happily return to.
