 A large marina a mile or so out of town, both motorhomes and caravans were welcome on very large hard-standing pitches. Electric hook on each pitch and fresh water taps on every other, chem disposal also available, there is also a laundry facility. No wifi at the marina.
There were two restaurants and a small ice-cream parlour open when we visited. The marina gives access to a long, safe, sandy beach which was very popular when we were there. Two off road cycle routes run from the site, one to the town and another along the coast.
The system is to pitch up and either go to the Harbour Master and pay, if he isn’t there someone comes around in the evening. The toilets / showers are key-coded which is included in the price, they are a fair walk from the pitches over on the marina.
We paid £15 per night for 2 adults incl. Ehu.
