Thanks to the previous 2 reviewers, we (mature couple with caravan and bikes) decided to try this campsite for our Easter break and were not disappointed! This is a really lovely, campsite with a natural feel to it, run by a really friendly, hospitable couple - nothing was too much trouble to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Ideally situated on the edge of the small town of Matignon with an excellent boulangerie, a selection of reasonably priced eating places and a good-sized SuperU supermarket within easy walking (10 - 15 mins) or cycling distance. It is also central to many of the attractions of the north Brittany coast, and within an hour of St. Malo and Mont St. Michel. Just after Easter the campsite was very quiet but the covered pool and other facilities were all open and we had our choice of the grass pitches. These are mostly sloping but a good size and not an issue with ramps to correct the slope - and this minor inconvenience is more than outweighed by the many positives of this site. We were sad to leave and will definitely return.

We spent four or five days here in mid July 2015 and were very pleased.
The site is very popular with French families - understandably so because of a small modern swimming pool with a retractable roof, ( but no water slides), large grassy pitches, room for children to play, impeccable clean toilets and showers, static caravans in a separate part of the site, and such welcoming friendly hard working owners. It seems well suited for children of Primary school age, and all were delightfully well behaved, but it isn't a site with activities or amusements for teenagers. There were snacks and light meals at the weekend but no real campsite restaurant. The evening entertainment for adults was to sit in the sun on the terrace outside the bar and chat with a few drinks. The clientele was almost entirely French, and British visitors don't seem to have found it, so this is the first review here. Bedtimes were early - it isn't a campsite with rowdiness, late nights or heavy drinking. These two old people didn't feel out of place.
We liked it because it gave easy access to so many places on this spectacular stretch of coast - Cap Frehel and Pleherel Plage are lovely, St Briac and St Lunaire are really quite smart resorts, St Cast is even closer, but the low tide walk out to the island from the headland at St Jacut remain our own favourite and stands out in the memory. We came away asking ourselves why so many UK visitors follow the well beaten trail to Carnac and Benodet when this stretch of the North Britanny coast has so much variety and so much to offer.
This is a very well run campsite indeed, with everything immaculate, and although we didn't begrudge paying peak summer prices of €20 we marvelled that the off peak ACSI camping card rate is a mere €12. What a bargain. It's a campsite more British visitors should discover.

Superb site huge pitches no tripping electricity uk plug or euro 13amp or 8 impeccably kept. The toilet facilities were immaculate at all times. The disabled facilities large and easy to use. Staff were very helpful at all times nothing was a trouble. Excellent pool for cooling off in, open all day, free to use. Bar on site not expensive considering the captive market. Mainly French visitors but German and Dutch there also. Very quiet at all times being out side the town but easy walk in.
Stayed ten days in total with a break after four nights. Wish we had just stayed there the whole time. Going back as we still have things to see in the area and to spend more time on the fabulous beaches.
First time in France for us and what an impression we got. Value for money cannot be beaten. No one arm bandits or nightclubs but if you want that take a ride to the extremely popular coastal resorts
