 A small campsite that has spaces for tents, caravans and motorhomes plus several wooden chalets and they also rent out boats. Right next to the fjord several pitches have glorious views over the fjord, all have ehu and there is a choice of hard or grass pitches. A few of the pitches face directly over the fjords. Wifi is available across the site.
Showers are KR 10 for 5 minutes – hot, good pressure and very clean. A well-equipped campers kitchen together with an eating area, laundry room and all the usual water empty / fill, chem disp, etc are all available.
The immediate area is very quiet, not a very tourist destination in that this is the only campsite on the island. That said it’s a paradise for walkers and those just wanting to take in the views over the fjords.
The owners were very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of information about the area, they spoke good English and they also hire out boats from the site if interested.
