 We spent a lovely week here on a last minute holiday. We required 2 pitches and didn't book, so had to use the overflow the first night.
There are two toilet/ shower blocks, free showers, no toilet roll. The pitches are sheltered and flat, approx 90m2. Charcoal barbecues are permitted, which is always good news.
The pool and water slides are great fun, although budgie smugglers must be worn if you're male! The bar is nice with entertainment (in French) most nights. The restaurant offer basic foods (pizza etc) plus daily specials, which were really nice. The beach is a few minutes walk through the dunes. Huge surf beach with white sand. The nearest shop is in St Dennis (3km) and a larger supermarket in St Pierre (10km).
The island is very cycle friendly with dedicated cycle routes. As usual, the French drivers are very courteous when it comes to cyclists on the road. My brother hired bikes locally (approx 40 euros/week). Other local attractions include vineyards, fishing port, lighthouse and brewery. Well worth a visit and better weather than further north.
