 Small family run site consisting of camping huts and touring facilities. Pitches are undefined, mostly on grass and ehu is available all around the site. No wifi on site but it is available at the entrance both inside and outside the café a few hundred yards from the pitches.
Showers / loos were immaculate, great showers with plenty of hot water and good pressure. All the ususal chem disp, washing up, water fill / empty etc. There is a good camper kitchen with oven, hot plates, washing up area and table and chairs, also a laundry room.
In the centre of the site there is a good sized children's play area, that said the fast flowing river runs close to the edge of the site so younger children would need to be supervised.
Just off the main road but far enough that there was no traffic noise at all. The nearest towns are 10-15 minutes drive away in either direction – both ski resorts with a god selection of shops.
At the top of the site at reception a small shop and café selling meals until 7pm, coffee, ice-creams etc.
At the bottom end of the site are the waterfalls, stunning and its possible to walk on a rock shelf to a few paces from the main waterfall. A marked trail runs along the side of the river, St. Olofs Trail, easy to follow and reasonably level.
A good site that was fairly busy but as everyone was well spread out it didn’t feel crowded.
