 Large site, mainly chalets and huts but with 40 odd pitches. Good sized, all hard standing on gravel with ehu.
The toilets and showers were very clean, showers were charged extra for which you needed to load a swipe card, facilities were always clean and no queues.
Brilliant campers kitchen with ovens, hotplates, washing up and tables and chairs.
When we stayed it was very busy as main part of the summer holidays, the chalets all seemed full and very few empty pitches. There is a small restaurant on site which was busy with chalet guest, campers and daytrippers.
The site is on the edge of the lake, various boats for hire plus play areas for children. The pitches nearer the lake were charged higher (despite not being next to the lake or having a view). We thought the pitches were a little uncared for, long grass and weeds around the edges. A shame as the rest of the site is very well cared for and well presented.
