Great campsite.
Friendly, helpful, great facilities and very conveniently located for those cycling or walking the Hadrian's Way.
Cost was very reasonable.
Nothing to dislike really. Would 100% recommend.
We were 1 adult and 2 teenagers cycling Hadrian's cycleway, staying 1 night in 2 small tents.

Lovely campsite, staff were so accommodating.
I arrived late and all staff made me feel so welcome, I needed a mallet to smash the pegs in and the Gentleman assisted.

Wallsend is a lovely little site, facilities are modern and with all you need.
Fella who runs the site seemed a decent type as well.
I'd recommend to anyone off along the hadrian's wall path

Perfect to end my Hadrian's Wall walk.
Quiet and clean facilities.
Would have been nice if a kettle was available in the kitchen area for campers use and paper towels in the toilet.
Pub & bistro up the road for meals, both good.

We stayed here whilst doing the Hadrian's Cycleway with our tandem and tent. Very good facilities, especially for walkers and cyclists. The shower building also includes a kettle and microwave with tea and coffee supplies, cake and honesty box which was really good. Plenty of room to pitch and a few picnic tables available to use too. We were the only people camping on the night we were there.
There is one gents toilet and shower room and one ladies toilet and shower room. The shower cubicle is quite compact so tall people will need to bend down to get under the shower flow - but it was warm and very clean. There is a brilliant invention which is a sort of washing line wigwam so that you can hang things up and they get aired and dried quickly. Nearby pub did good basic pub food.

This is the OTHER Wallsend, a delightful small site in an idyllic spot on the Solway Firth. 2 minute walk to the pub, where the beer is cheap to a southerner, and near a nature reserve where we saw a real live adder. Remote, but unmissable.

I found this site quite by chance because its main business seems to be B&B and Wigwams, but they have a decent patch for tents. I asked for the site to be added because it is ideal for backpackers on their first or last night of the Hadrian's Wall National Trail. Facilities are decent, although small. The site is very tidy and very close to the village.
