 Stay here 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The owners were very welcoming and friendly.
The pitches are slightly sloping which wasn't an issue for us. Facilities wise, there is just the elsan empty point, which again not an issue for us.
With a bus stop at the site entrance, and a bus every hour into Padstow and Wadebridge it is perfect to explore the nice little harbour town.
Highly recommended site.

Fantastic site, well laid out and beautifully maintained. Dogs made very welcome and we were allowed to let them off the lead in the top field. Obviously staying with them and picking up any poo. Rest of the site the dogs must be on a lead which is only fair.
This site does not have electric hook up, we have solar on the van so very happy not to be charged for something we do not need to use. £10 a night was an absolute bargain.
Owners are lovely, we will definitely return. Site was also easy to access.

Excellent small site. Very tidy, lots of space, beautiful views. There are planted areas, seating and also a few goats on site (not running around freely!) for added interest.
The toilet and shower were no longer operational while we were there. We knew this when we booked but, if it’s important to you, best check first. Stayed here when we visited the Royal Cornwall Show which was about five minutes by car.
Would definitely visit again.

I stayed here for 2 nights. June and Hugh (the owners) were so warm and friendly and the site was in amazing quality; lovely lush grass, it was very peaceful with a view over the Camel Estuary. Small loo and toilet but I never had to queue although there were a few of us on site. They were really clean and well looked after, too.
This is one of the nicest sites I have stayed in and the best certified site by miles.
I rated child friendliness as 1 because the owners actively discourage children. Perhaps that's why it's so relaxing hear !

This is the third time we have stayed at timaru near Padstow, what a lovely site, beautifully kept, beautiful views, facilities for campers (tents) cannot fault it, and site owners are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.
