Nice campsite in countryside, a few lovely walks on the doorstep.
No complaints at all & would visit again.
Water on your pitch so no need to move van,
Nice tent area.

Great site very peaceful easy to find and helpful staff.
However it is sloping so bring levelling ramps!
Will need car/bike to be able to get around.

Very much as per previous review, there is now also a chemical disposal point as the edge of the site.
All 8 pitches has there own water tap and electric, no grey waste though.
As well as motorhomes they do cater for tents with a well cut grass area, this also contains some benches and tables.
A very peaceful and quiet site, there were only two other units when we stayed. A volunteer came around early evening to collect our £16 (which included showers). The lady was very helpful and friendly and told us volunteers take it in turns to clean the shower etc. In the shower was a lovely selection of products in case you had forgotten anything - everything from shower gels to toothbrushes, lovely idea.
From the site there were several walks along roads on which we saw less than a handful of cars. Nearest community shop and petrol about 2 miles away.
A good site using from or to the Lerwick ferry as it seems much quieter than those right on the coasts.
Would not hesitate to use again.

This site is about 14 miles north of Lerwick and makes a convenient overnight stop. It is quite a long way off the main road in a very pleasant and peaceful place. There were only 2 other motorhomes there the night we stayed.
The site is simply a large tarmac area opposite the local community centre; each pitch has its own hookup and water. You have access to the entrance lobby of the community centre where there is a large disabled toilet and shower, but no washing-up facilities or chemical toilet disposal. The warden comes round in the evening to collect payment.
