 The site is at the top of the hill above the village. As well as the camping pitches there is a children's play area and a sports bar - both well used by locals.
The pitches were a good size, all with ehu. There were several taps for fresh water and a motorhome service point for dumping grey waste plus a chem disposal.
We were given keys to the showers which were always clean with loads of hot water. There was also a washing up place and a laundry. The bar opens from late afternoon until around 10pm - not at all rowdy and locals and campers mixed well. No food served but the Guest House a few yards down the road served food.
In the town there was a small supermarket and a Lidl plus a good selection of other shops. There is a large factory that makes children's wooden toys nearby, it has a small outlet attached plus an area children (and adults) can go to paint wood toys etc.
We loved the site, well kept, big pitches, secure and the staff really friendly.
We paid €5. 50 per night for 2 adults with ehu and wifi, showers etc - incredible value for money for a beautiful site.
