This is a gem of a site I almost don't want to make people aware of it!
We had 11 nights on a hard standing pitch in the 5 up site and it was beautiful, views across to Bude and beyond but with a nice bit of hedges nearby to offer some wind protection.
The toilets, showers and Pot wash huts were always spotless and never had to queue.
It is on a working golf course and there are animals nearby but none of this causes any issues to your stay.
The staff are so friendly and couldn't do more to help.
It is placed up a long track but rarely met anything coming it's probably about 10 mins to Crooklets and the same to Morrisons,
Will certainly be back!

Perfect view. Lovely owners.
Responded quickly and helpfully to requests.
The toilets and showers are lovely.
The location is great - handy for Bude but not busy or touristy!

My wife and I spent two days on the elevated site at Ivyleaf with the most spectacular views of Bude and the sea beyond.
Crooklets Beach is about 10 minutes drive away with parking for a motorhome of 6 metres or less in length.
The staff were most helpful. The site was peaceful and well kept. We look forward to staying there again.

Wow! What an amazing location. We have stayed here before and the view was what brought us back again this year. Absolutely stunning. This time we brought some friends with us and they had the same reaction.
This site is very peaceful. If you are on the bottom pitches, which are hardstanding and quite flat, you have a gorgeous view over the golf course out to sea. If you are up in the top field, you are next to sheep with a 360 degree view all around of the hills, fields and of course the sea. Wonderful. Although, it is quite steep, so if you are in the top field you need to be able to walk reasonably well.
The facilities are basic but perfectly fine with everything you need, toilets, showers, hook-up, water etc. , including a washing machine. Of course, for the golfers there is the lovely 9 hole course and driving range. You can hire clubs etc if you can't manage to bring your own.
This site has everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay, except perhaps for a pub on the corner! Although there are lots in Bude itself. However, we found a lovely pub in nearby Kilkhampton, The London Inn. Great food, reasonably priced and good beer.
Bude is a lovely little town, with a surfing community and fabulous beaches. It has a great variety of quirky shops and places to eat, including the best Cornish Pasties at Penganna's. We have visited Bude many times and will continue to visit as much as we can.
A wonderful place for a wonderful stay.

This site has great views over the golf course and out to sea. It is quiet and peaceful with very little noise from the A39 which is about a quarter of a mile from the site. The facilities are OK, but a little basic, however there is everything you would need from showers and toilets to a washing machine for your clothes. All pitches are hardstanding with electrical hook up and water taps. They are a good size offering space for your car and an awning if you want to set one up. The staff are friendly and helpful. The golf course professional was in the reception area on the day we arrived, but he was very helpful and showed us to our pitch and explained the site to us even though this was not his main role. The site is well placed for exploring Bude and it's surroundings. It is also a good base for both the Hartland peninsula and the North Cornwall coast. I would recommend this CL for short breaks and hope to visit again before too long.
