We liked this site very much, it's easy to find, only a couple of hundred yards from the A36 and about 2 miles from the M27. We didn't find road noise a problem. It is attractively laid out, 3 pitches in a row and 2 others in separate areas. Very attractive trees and flowers.
The owners are pleasant and helpful, they live in a lovely house on site.
There is a well stocked Nisa shop about 2 miles along the road towards Salisbury, supermarkets in Romsey which is a lovely town with a park and several rivers.
Plenty of walks in various directions; there is one directly from the site across the road.
The best bit- there is a lovely "enclave" in the middle of cypress trees with various plastic animals and a number of chairs, really magical and hundreds of fairy lights at night.
We would certainly use this site again if in the area.

We used this site as a stopover and were pleasantly surprised. You can tell that the owners are caravanners, everything was well kept and organised.
There is no doubt that the road noise is an issue during the day but is not a problem at night. We are light-sleeping country bumpkins but still slept well.
Access to the New Forest starts at the gate to the site, you can walk, run or cycle for miles from here. Our dogs had a great time making friends with the local donkeys.
Overall, very good site and we will use it again.

This is a Caravan Club CL Site. This means it is not open to non-members.
The site is a 1 acre field next to the owner's house and surrounded by trees and hedges. I went in April and the trees were in blossom which made the site very attractive. The site has electric hook ups, a water tap and a toilet emptying point.
I have only stayed on this site once, although it has very pleasant outlook it was very noisy due to the traffic from the A36 to Salisbury. The road was only 200m on the other side of the trees It's a shame, but the traffic noise was too much for me.
The site is not too far for visits to Romsey and other parts of the New Forest.
