 A beautifully run family site, abourt half a mile from the main road so no traffic noise at all. The site slopes gently down to the lake, plenty of even flat pitches for vans and tents.
The site has a small beach area with sand on the lake side, it's also possible to launch small boats from there. For children there was a play area, a trampoline and pedaloes.
The showers and toilets were immaculate at all times, plenty of dish washing areas and also a chem disposal area.
The site allows campfires and most people used those of previous visitors who had left them with stone surrounds. The shop has a small shop and a cafe and restaurant with fresh bread daily.
Despite being reasonably busy it was quiet and peaceful.
A fabulous site run by a friendly family, we would recommend this site.
