 There are two Camperstops in Ebensee, the first is right on the waters edge and when we arrived was full to bursting with motorhomes and csaravans.
This is the second Camperstop in the town and was much quiets, just a few campervans and two caravans. There are several electric hook ups available and also water fill / empty and chem disposal. A warden came around to check everyone had purchased tickets.
There are toilets but they are only open from 8am - 8pm, not just for use by campers but they were immaculately clean.
The lake is just a few hundred yards away where there was a diving and bathing platform. Walking through the yacht club we came across a small pebble beach with crystal clear water which was being used by several familys.
Just over the road there are several shops, cafes and takeaways. The chairlift is visible and a 5-10 minute drive from the camperstop. The lake itself is stunning, you can take boat trips along it for a few hours to the tops at the top end.
This is the less popular of the two stopovers but we found quieter, we paid €12 for a night with electric.
