Great campsite. Return visit this year after a great trip last time.
Has everything you need on site, good shower/toilet block, play park and large pitches.
Went as a large group of three families with children ranging from 1-12, suited perfectly.
Great base location for exploring surrounding areas,
Would definitely return again.

Lovely camp site. Very clean.
This is our second visit and will be going back again.
Nice bar and food. Not too far from beaches etc. Or forest walks.

Great site, would definitely recommend.
We went there with a 1 year old and a 1 month year old. They both loved it. Running around with the ducks, having a laugh and making memories.
We will definitely be going back soon.

Good campsite in a peaceful location, close to Haldon Forest with great walks and bike trails.
Recent improvements made with the addition of a well stocked shop and a portacabin bar open nightly with picnic tables for well priced and tasty pizza, burgers chips etc. Takeaways also possible and live music on Fri and Sat evening at the bar.
Main gripe is the insufficient showers for the expanded site which resulted in queues at busy times. This coupled with the poor water pressure and often cold water lead to an awful shower experience most days.
Lack of recycling facilities also a bugbear. Generally on the up though some improvements needed.

This is a beautiful site in a beautiful location. Some of the roads on the approach to the site are narrow with some sharp turns which was a little tricky with the trailer.
On arrival we were given a choice of pitches which was great given the time of year and the site was busy but not overcrowded. The campsite is on a hillside so the pitch was on a slight slope so we always woke in the corner of the tent.
The site was friendly and our boys (6 and10) were always off at the playground, cycling around or playing in the forest areas. It was a great location for touring around the local area.
There are a number of supermarkets within a short drive (up to 30 mins depending on which one you want), the post office carries a good stick in the local village which met most of our needs.
The facilities are modern and clean with plenty of hot water. There is a small bar on site but this only opened on weekends because of this the stock turnover is probably low.
My husband was given an out of date bottle of cider, which was immediately replaced. There is no shop on site.
We would return to this site because of its location, the scenery and the friendliness of the site.
