 On the edge of the very picturesque town of Schiltach. A rather tight turning down to the site from the road, the roof of the restaurant is a bit of a hazard but there were car / caravans and a larger motorhome already down there so its passable.
The site is split into two area, the first near the restaurant has severla good sized pitches with the river running behind. The second area is under a former railway bridge, therefore only lower campers, caravans and cars were using this area.
Both areas have ehu, there is water available from a point outside the restaurant. The showers were charged extra at 50 cents for 4 minutes, a little old but very clean and water good and hot. Washing up area and laundry available, wifi also available.
The town is known for is half timbered houses and is a popular tourist destination. Lots of small shops and cafes, plus a large department type store selling high end clothes and gifts.
We paid €19 for 2 adults with ehu, would use again especially if visiting Schiltach as its less than 2 minutes walk into town.
