Absolute blessing to be at a site where camping is as it should be 'wild and free' (not literally free 🤣)

We stayed here after staying on a site that was a little stressful, so we were so relieved to meet Ben and the set up be so relaxed.

Great site. Set up where you want (space and EHU permitting if you need it) Great showers and washing up facilities. Clean and not over the top. Perfect.

You do need a 50p for the showers but it gives you 8 minutes which is more than enough time and they have 50ps if you need them. The only thing we found with this was the 50p slot being outside the shower so it was a bit of a game of trying not to fluent your birthday suit to set the shower away. 🤣

Hair dryer if needed and a couple of sinks.

We stayed in the overfill field as I have anxiety and autism so like to be away from too much stimulation and noise. It was very busy the weekend we stayed but still lots of open space. Ben said they try not to take too many bookings so it's not overwhelmed with people.

You can walk to charmouth and Lyme Regis which for Lyme Regis is a blessing s parking is a nightmare. I'd recommend the park and ride if you don't want to, or cant manage the walk as it is all uphill on the way back 🤣💪

The only thing with this campsite is it's situated high so you do get the sea fret and wind but I'd definitely go back and Ben was more than helpful and welcoming! A lovely stay, thank you!

Unfortunately when we arrived there were several caravans with a number of transit vans parked outside them which continually came & went.

There we dogs tied up outside overnight barking that were off leads during the day.

The facilities were very good but we only stayed for one night as there was not a relaxing feeling to the site. We had paid for longer but went to Seaton along the coast.

It was a shame as we had really been looking forward to staying there & had paid for more nights initially.

Wonder shower / toilet block immaculate.

Very pleasant owner. Left to chose where you wanted to pitch up. Highly recommend.

Will definitely be returning and stopping longer next time.

Brilliant

This was a nice, well maintained and serviced campsite. Easy to access off the main A road. Convenient for both Lyme Regis and Charmouth by car and on foot. We walked into both towns which was easy downhill, but a bit more of a challenge coming home.

However, both walks are lovely and allowed us to see more of the local area. The campsite was very quiet before 10pm and most people still not up and about until after 8am, so ideal to relax in.

Toilet and shower block was great, recycling facilities good and EHU good (we had the heater on for an hour at night and there were no problems).

The field is overlooked by two mobile phone masks, so we had no issues getting a signal, using Wi-Fi from phones to piggyback multiple devices for the kids to watch Disney /Amazon Prime. I did plenty of exam marking over the four days using internet driven software on my laptop, so the good phone signal was really helpful.

Great value camping and very reasonably priced.

We have been visiting for over 25 years. We love this place, we brought our children here and now we are bringing our grandchild here.

It now has a new booking system, but has always welcomed people just rocking up. Always friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful walks, near beaches and with a handy park and ride.

Dogs welcome. Clean toilets and showers. Recycling facilities.

Just a lovely easy going campsite. 🥰

Great, well maintained and run campsite. Yes there is a bit of road noise but I can honestly say that I just didn't notice it once I got set up.

1 shower and 1 toilet in lower field and a family toilet/shower plus another toilet in top field. Washing up facilities good.

Excellent hut with fridge/ freezer and plenty of charging sockets. Refuse facilities excellent.

The site is clearly controlled as regards numbers with pitches in the lower field marked by picnic benches.

Plenty of room with good views.

Highly recommend and thank you Winston for getting the balance just right.

A very good campsite. Good prices to stay there.

Was very quiet site which was good, was no rush to pay for staying.

Only about 10 minute drive to lyme Regis fron the site,

Would definitely use the campsite again.
