Easy to find, about 2 miles from the main route. Helen greeted us once through the electric gate and cctv, nice and secure.
Helen gave us some info and provided a detailed map of the area (returnable at the end of your stay).
There are no facilities other than electric, water and waste, as advertised. Mixture of hard standing and grassed pitches. This CL is super quiet and great just to relax.
Some great walks especially down by the canal(1 mile away), easy to get to.
We will definitely be going back. Thanks to Helen

We have been here a few times always good communication via email and owners friendly.
It is a cl and has water, CDP, electric and bins as expected.
Pitches are a little hard to define as grass is growing over stone bases and it would be hard to see them in the dark if you haven't been before.
We like this site as it's not far to Grantham which has all the shops you could possibly need.
Nice and peaceful but is now £15 a night

This review relates to the Casthorpe House Farm Certificated Location [CL] rather than the rally field but our general comments would be applicable to both:-
Helen & Neil’s introduction to their site says it all really.
This was our third visit in as many years, which says something, as we aren’t renowned for visiting the same site more than once unless it is exceptional! Casthorpe House Farm is just that & exactly what we want, as motorhomers, in a CL – EHU & hardstanding.
Whilst the furthest pitches are quite a way from the electric supply, Helen is able to supply extension cables to suit. Water points and CDP are all close to the site entrance. The coded gate entry also gives peace of mind.
As has been stated, the Grantham Canal is close by and gives a myriad of towpath walks [or cycle rides] options in both directions which can then be linked into disused railway tracks. In fact there was a 9 mile walk using such thoroughfares that could have incorporated four pubs [at Woolsthorpe Wharf (temporarily closed in Feb 2016); Woolsthorpe By Belvoir; Denton (currently closed) & Harlaxton. ] with a minimum of road walking. The Viking Way also passes through the area.
It was also encouraging to see that the Grantham Canal Society were rebuilding one of the locks near Woolsthorpe Wharf in order to make the canal more navigable.
Remember to bring a bird feeder as you will be inundated with blue, great & long tailed tits, chaffinches, greenfinches; the odd sparrow and the resident robin [as well as a cheeky pheasant!]
In conclusion, Casthorpe House Farm ticks all of the boxes of our CL/CS requirements and we would thoroughly recommend it for a restful stay.
