Just behind the sand dunes and next door to a campsite. Well spaced pitches, ehu available as is water fill / empty and chem disposal.

Entry is via a barrier where an automatic payment system is in place – takes debit / credit cards only. Instructions are available in English and the system allows you to leave / re-enter the area with a passcode.

A short walk along the beach is the lighthouse complex, two lighthouses, a good selection of tourist type shops, several restaurants and bars. You can pay a few Euro to enter both lighthouses and climb to the top of the most modern one. There is a gift shop at the bottom and a museum.

The island has a brilliant series of cycle paths, mostly off road and reasonably flat.

We paid €11 per night for 2 adults with ehu. Add to this the toll for crossing the bridge of €8 and we still thought this was a bargain and the island was well worth a visit.
