 Although this site is not the ultimate in luxury it has everything you need for a great naturist holiday. You will get a friendly welcome from Anne and Pascal - Anne speaks very good English, and Pascal will give you the opportunity to practice your French. Showers (communal) and toilets are in two separate blocks and are modern and clean. In one block is a washing machine which is free if you use your own detergent. The pool area is fairly small, but fine for the size of the campsite. Pitches are in two main areas, one in amongst trees, where pitch demarcation is a bit vague, and the other more open down a fairly steep gravel roadway. In addition to the camping pitches there are various types of rental units, including substantial 'log' cabins. There is a basic bar and restaurant where communal meals are served, though we didn't eat there. Several times a week there is evening entertainment around the bar/restaurant, could be a film, live music or slide show. Overall, though, the atmosphere is calm and relaxed.
In the surrounding area we loved visiting the numerous hill-top ancient villages such as Puycelsi nearby, Cordes de Ciel, Castelnau de Montmiral and Bruniquel. A little further away is St Antonin and the Aveyron Gorge. You can canoe through the gorge, but book in advance in high season.
Our stay at Le Fiscalou was in two parts - we left the caravan there in their barn for a week whilst we had a week in Corsica, flying from Toulouse. Storage was one Euro per night, plus we paid to keep electric connected.
Directions to the site on the web page are a bit misleading - at Monclar-de-Quercy take the second exit at the first roundabout by the Huit-a-Huit supermarket (do not take the Gaillac road) then continue around the town towards Puycelsi.
