Brilliant campsite. Came as a backpacker, very easy to get to, just a 5 min walk from the train station and bus stops. Was very well looked after, told the best place to camp to avoid getting flooded as it was very wet when I arrived. Plenty of fantastic walks accessible immediately from site without having to drive. Basic but more than adequate facilities. You need to take 20p pieces for the showers, but that 20p gives a very hot shower and lasts a very long time, (no need to top up mid-shower as with some places!) Only downfall is that there is no shelter or 'cookhouse' for campers, so a little hard to cook in the wind and rain as the site is quite exposed, but gave us a great excuse to try out the exceptional cafés in the village! Great atmosphere in a great village- would certainly come back again!

What a beautiful friendly site! Run by a lovely family, full of local knowledge, and extremely helpful. Nestled in the mountains, with the River Spey bubbling along the back of the site: simply beautiful. We stayed for a week at this site with two dogs, and two adults, and was just what we needed. The Toilet and shower blocks were clean and well stocked, (some have said basic, but we were pleased) There are electricity charging points and hot water, (for a small fee) and the block is so well placed for us campers! (Thankyou!) Plenty of walks to be had, a petrol station close by, and approx. 1 mile away, a supermarket for provisions. There is a grill and bar a few minutes walk from the camp, (though we did not eat here). Fishing is available on the spey, with permits available online from the angling club or the local hotel, plenty of wildlife, and a peaceful location. What more could you ask for?
Lots of people have permanent caravan pitches, and all were friendly and helpful. We would recommend this site wholeheartedly, and are hoping to return!
