A large camperstop just 2 minutes from the centre of the small town at the side of the river.

The first area is on the roadside but continue through and there are approx 50 pitches on grass, all pre-marked and decent sized facing right onto the river. Every pitch has ehu and there is a motorhome service point included in the price with water fill / empty and chm. Disposal.

The site has a barrier and to gain entry you need to use the machine and a debit or credit card. Very easy to use and instructions are in English if you tap the British flag. You can come and go using a code on the printed receipt.

There are loos but they are only open from 8am to 8pm but they were always clean. There are also showers for which you pay extra.

As well as the river the canal also runs through town, there is a canal path which is tarmac and runs between river and canal for 40-50 miles.

The town itself is small with not too much to see or do. There is a fabulous bakers just up the steps from the river on the bridge, also a Lidl in town just 5 minutes walk away.

We paid €7 with ehu for 2 persons.
