What a perfect gem and views to wake up to have got to be one or even the best. Basic but clean and well cared for. Very close to lake vernwy, a lovely place to to visit. Rspb have some good hides to check out different types of birds. It is an adults only site so is very quiet ( nice ) and the lady owner is so friendly and knows her area so well.

This Caravan Club CL is situated at an altitude of 350m and has clear views across the hills to the west. The owners have recently created two wide level terraces with two hard-standings on each level, and have a fifth hard-standing pitch at the entrance level. There are water taps on each level and pumped water ensures good water pressure and flow. The site has well mown lawns. You are assured a warm welcome from the owner, including in my case appropriate advice on the pronunciation of local place-names!
The CL is at the western end of a static caravan park, but it is well separated by a substantial hedge. The route from the entrance up through the park to the CL is well signposted. There are full recycling facilities and the whole park is immaculately kept. The views from the CL are truly stunning, looking west across the hills around Lake Vyrnwy to the Arans on the skyline. (We were blessed with spectacular sunsets).
The local area has many attractions for cyclists, walkers and nature lovers. The road around the lake is an ideal 11- mile cycle circuit. There are many local walks, but we have particularly enjoyed the Anne Griffiths walk along the Vyrnwy river from Pont Llogel. There are RSPB hides near the dam and around the lake.
There is an excellent local shop at Llanwddyn (petrol and diesel also available), about a mile from the site, and a new Spar supermarket in Llanfyllin, 8 miles away.
