We have recently spent a very pleasant week at this adult only campsite. Patricia was very welcoming and a wealth of information.

The site itself is immaculate and well laid out with a bird hide across the other end of the field. It was very peaceful as well.

The country lanes are flat and good for cycling with lots of good footpaths for the walkers and dog owners.

A shop is within walking distance and the nearest pub The Ship Inn offered an adequate lunch.

Our Vodafone signal was excellent as was getting a satellite signal for tv although we watched very little preferring to sit outside and enjoy the views and the tranquillity.

We would certainly return.

 Lovely site with glorious views.

The good lady and myself enjoyed watching the mad Hares in the adjacent field and the barn owl swooping over the fields at dusk.

If you are after some peace and tranquillity then look no further.

We have just spent 9 nights at this lovely site near Saltfleet. This is an adults only site as there is open water along the side of the field. The owners have built a bird hide overlooking the water which you are free to use any time. The pitches are flat and well drained with ehu and there are two hardstandings.

Patricia the owner is very welcoming and comes around twice a day to sanitise the facilities and have a chat.

The village is a short walk down the lane and has a competitively price petrol station and a shop with a cafe which has a comprehensive range of goods. There are also 2 pubs and a fish and chip shop in the village.

The area is lovely for cycling as the many quiet lanes are flat and easy to ride. A couple of miles away is a cider farm with cider made from their own apples.

We have really enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed at many CL sites around the UK - some good, some OK and some dreadful but Hilltop Farm can be described as absolutely perfect. Very neat and tidy the owner was scrupulouse in sanitising the taps etc. , during this Cpvid pandemic which was very reassuring.

The site is beautifully kept with lovely trees and shrubs with the added bonus of a great bird hide.

Lots of excellent walking from this site inland and along the magnificent Lincolnshire coast. There is a very handy shop within the petrol station at the end of the lane with Louth, Mabelthorpe etc. , very close at hand for larger supermarkets etc.

A very good fish and chip shop is very close and very good, so good in fact that we used it twice during our stay.

Overall the very attentive and friendly owners, the lovely quiet rural location and a beautifully maintained site made for a most enjoyable week - shame about the weather though ! Thank you very much

What a absolutely magical place. Peace and tranquility in abundance. Trish and Brian are welcoming hosts and have an abundance of local knowledge. The birdsong is inspiring and makes you feel blessed to be able to share such a beautiful place.

Piches level, site spotless.

Loos very easy to empty I'm five feet tall, no problem here.

Sunsets are the most exhilarating, uplifting thing to behold. I had every intention of seeing the sunrise, however I slept so peacefully that I did not have the pleasure to witness them.

The hide is just a bonus, and we spent a few hours with a glass of wine watching the wildlife and felt at home with nature 100%.

Gentle stroll along the footpaths to the nature reserve which is known locally as "Paradise" and on to the Saltfleet Inn for a refreshing cold one and then met up with friends in the Crown. Village pubs never cease to amaze with their characters and both of these will not disappoint.

Across the playing field and back to the camp, to enjoy the evening sunshine, a BBQ and the sunset. A beautiful place with lots to offer, will we visit again? Absolutely. Thank you Trish and Brian for sharing your paradise with us. Jayne & Lea

This site is so lacking! Lacking in general noise, lacking in disturbance, lacking in children running amok despite staying during school holidays (adult only site), lacking in local traffic noise, the only thing it doesn't lack is absolute peace, quiet and tranquillity and a very easy life atmosphere. The everyday business in the farm buildings really doesn't intrude. Being mostly a grass site, I didn't even hear the 'neighbours' arriving and departing, no crunching gravel roads! It's absolutely blissful.

The delightful site owners strike the perfect balance, being there with a very warm welcome, and being helpful and assisting when needed, but not intrusive when you're more than happy to be left alone. And they are dog friendly, rather than just dog tolerant!

It was nice to while away some time watching from the site's own bird hide which overlooks the substantial drainage channels and fields, in a short period of killing 10 minutes or so here and there, I saw a number of ducks and other wildfowl, the usual assortment of 'country' birds and a hare in the adjacent field, maybe not a twitchers paradise, but a pleasant and thoughtful amenity. The site also benefits from those famous east coast 'Big Skies'.

Access is easy to local amenities such as the convenience store (a few hundred yards), pubs (maybe 1/2 mile), fish & chip shop (a mile) etc. Foot paths lead from the site to the sand dunes and beach and across fields to the nearby immaculate local village playing field where you can exercise a dog, and onwards into the village itself. And the locals seem friendly, which is not a given for all parts of the country!

General road access to the site is good, the wide lane it's on seems to see about one vehicle every 20 minutes or so, so not too much risk of that dreaded 'whose going to reverse up to the passing place' scenario! The site is fairly convenient for venturing out further afield, with quiet uncongested roads leading off in most directions, but this being Lincolnshire they are mostly lanes (but quite wide lanes) and on a rather squared up follow the field boundaries 'grid'.

The lack of toilet/shower block is no great inconvenience with a modern van/camper with it's onboard facilities. The service point is easily accessible and perfectly adequate. You do have to pitch your van/camper carefully to make levelling easy, but none of us there during my stay used levelling devices of any kind, just careful placement of the van/camper. Don't think being mostly a grass site should be too much of a wet weather issue either, being Lincs, the soil is well drained, in the rain showers I had, the ground barely seemed to get wet.

Highly recommend this site, if peace, quite and simplicity of life is your thing. The site fees are perfectly reasonable and competitive for what's on offer. I rated site facilities 8/10 only because of no toilet/shower block, not because of any deficiency elsewhere. If I venture back to this part of the world again, this site would be my choice.

Lovely site perfect location for walks. Handy shop nearby and two pubs recommend the chip shop too.

Lovely walk via nature reserve and beach to mablethorpe.

Brilliant location for accessing the coast without being in the commercial area and adults only a major plus.
