A great site but in 2024 it has been demolished to make way for a car park for the local French Division 1 football club which is situated opposite. Such a shame. This was advised to me by Tourist Information when I was unable to get a reply from the site early this year.

Great location, walking distance along the river to the lovely town of Auxerre with lots of interesting sites to see and good choice of cafés / restaurants.
Fairly basic sanitary block but fine for a one night stopover.

As a stopover it's fine. It has about 150 pitches, is barrier protected, with reception in a small booth at the entrance. It is well looked after, with neatly kept pitches, good sanitaires; and a snack bar that supplied bread and essentials.
(I have a vague memory it served asian food; certainly something different from the usual. ) It's within walking distance of the city centre, (google says 25 mins) and next door to the aquatic sports centre, and the soccer stadium. There's a note on one ACSI review that says it gets noisy when there's a home game.
