 I agree with everything said about the site. Beautiful setting, lovely pitches, good wifi, spotlessly clean. There are good washing facilities, showers are well worth the Euro charged for 6 minutes, pool good, easy walk into town centre and great tourist office.
Being Luxembourg it is a bit dear to eat out here but top quality.
It is possible to catch a train to Luxembourg City and I understand there is a sort of all Luxembourg pass you can buy for €4. 00 Euros.
By far the highlight of our stay was the 'Family of Man' photographic exhibition in the castle. This is a world class exhibition and it seems money is lavished on its upkeep.

This is a lovely site in an amazing location with some pitches (including ours) directly adjacent to the river. Pitches are big and hedge-separated so you do have a bit of privacy.
The site is in a very narrow valley and so prone to overnight dew - we needed to wait an extra hour for our tent to dry out before taking it down.
Owners are Dutch and very pleasant - speak good English and happy to provide info and recommendations for you. Most of the site clientele is Dutch (about 95%) so they are clearly onto a good thing selling back to customers in the 'homeland'.
Pool is ok - small, clean, unmanned and unheated. Seems to be open all daylight hours.
Local area is pretty. Clervaux itself is a lovely little place and you must see The Family of Man exhibition in the castle - hard to explain why as it's just a collection of a few hundred photos but it's probably the most moving 'gallery' experience I've ever had.
Showers are excellent as you would expect for 1E for 6 minutes - worth every penny after a hard day's hiking though. Also, the site itself is very good value so you don't really mind paying the extra.

Came across this site by chance, a real gem. Its run by an incredibly helpful Dutch couple, nothing too much trouble, very friendly and very easy going.
The pitches are the biggest we have ever come across, people had caravan, awning, car, tables and chairs and then still more room left over. Some pitches face onto the river, all are on grass but it was well drained and not boggy.
Wifi available free across the site, bicycle hire and washing machines / dryers also available. There are two showers blocks, the one we used was the older but was immaculate - tokens for 6 minute shower are €1 - great water pressure and plenty of hot water.
Its a 5 minute walk to the centre of the the small town of Clervaux - famous for its castle, abbey and the Family of Man photographic exhibition. To us more like a large village but loads to do and see. Within the restored castle in the centre of town is a museum of artifacts from the Battle of Bulge, there is also a model exhibition which has scale models of every castle in Luxembourg - together in most parts with large parts of the towns included on the models.
There are a few shops, two patisserie, several hotels, restaurants and cafes. On the hill above town is a beautiful monastery, you can walk up a path which takes half an hour. The monastery is not open itself other than the church and a small gift shop.
There is nothing we could fault this for, as close to perfect as we have come across and at €17 per night it was one of the cheapest we found in the country (many we tried were asking for €22-25 even in October).
