The campsite is tired and the facilities are rundown.
At check in, no one told us that there was going to be a music festival in the grounds and the music blared, thumped and vibrated through the campervan until 1. 30am in the morning,
The toilets were full of vomit and worse.
This has been our worst experience in 4 months of touring around Europe.

We planned to stay here 7 nights and booked and paid for this. We had emailed them several times to advise on the size of our unit a big twin axle, type, make and size to which we were told this wasn't an issue. After a long drive we arrived at this huge chateau with barrier & security entrance and we were directed to the campsite through another set of barriers. This is when it started to dawn on the great prince of darkness, a very experience and quite talented expert on moving the caravan that this could be very tight. We paid up and we shown to our pitch. Now it gets interesting as there was no way on this planet that we could get this caravan onto the pitch. 4 pitches later and some debate with the reception team saw us onto about one of the two pitches that could take this caravan. If you have a motor mover then some of the other pitches may be ok for you but a big van without them well be warned.
We paid for this pitch in the sub tropical climate of its own but we made good for our first week of our 2 week holiday and for some sitting in permanent shade may appeal to some but my two professional tanning men of the family this was like some sort of purgatory resulting in them taking sunloungers to the empty pitch opposite to get their somewhat crusade of sunshine underway
So to the facilities, these were not to bad, a very cheap bar run by local volunteers from the site, loads of statics and plenty of very old caravans set up as permanent pitches for seasonal useage and we mean old caravans as well but overal fine with that if that is your thing
Showers were small and push button but yes you can get clean and they are certainly very hot
The surrounding area has a biggish Carafour supermarket (closed on tuesdays) an excellent chip and kebab shop and is close enough off the motorway to be of use
The chateau grounds have a lot of kid friendly things to do and is a bit of a local attraction of things to do here and seemed busy at most times
The straw that broke the camels back was the swimming pool and the frankly beyond a joke for policing purposes. Whilst we understand the sensitivity in Belguim with events that are and have happened the policing of having to wear what amounts to budgie smugglers to get into the pool area on the basis you can can conceal a weapon in those swimming shorts, ever met my prince of darkness. Ok this was too much even when there are turnstiles for the entrance to the pool with the prerequisite inspection of appropriate swimming shorts, well 35 years ago the POD in those shorts was a sight to be behold but alas time has taken its toll on the man and frankly we both said hell no to this. WE NOTE the reason we understand the reasons but we really need to be realists in this century
Overall we wouldn't slate this site, it has lots of opportunities for the smaller units / tenters and the local area of Liege, Namur, Aachen are all worth the time to visit and shopping well I can tell you whose credit card was bashed in Liege and frankly yes please give me more
We paid for 7 nights we lasted 4 and moved to another site
In summary we wouldn't return to this site due to the size of our caravan, if we have motor mover then perhaps and would give it a consideration out of the summer months as we like the area
Its not bad, its not brilliant but you could manage here

This is a large site of predominantly static and seasonal vans, there are roughly 20 touring pitches. The site is attached to the chateau complex which consists of caravan site, a bbq area, a wooded area, large swimming pool, children's play area and the castle which seems to cater to groups and conferences and has a restaurant.
The touring pitches were a good size, all together and not dotted between statics which is often the case. There was ehu, water fill on the road side - we never found a motorhome point. The toilets and showers were very clean and well looked after - showers are open from 7am to 1230pm then again from 4pm to 11pm.
Wifi is available for free, mainly around the campsite bar outside reception - we picked up with a Booster from pitch.
The lady on reception spoke little English but was friendly and tried to help with directions for shops etc. - there is a wonderful grocers, 2 bakery and a butcher in the village.
We used for a one night stopover for a bargain price of €12 for 2 adults with ehu, showers and wifi its certainly worth a visit if you have something specific to do or see in the area. For us the only let down is it was mainly a long-stay park but for many that wont be an issue.
