 A good mile or so from the main road, a very quiet and peaceful site with two pitching areas, one by the main house and another just a little behind the barns. Ehu available in both areas, water fill by hose outside the main house – we didn’t see anywhere to drain. There is a chem disposal. The owner told us he does have wifi but it was broken.
The showers and toilets were clean and adequate, they may have seen better days in the last 10 years or so but nothing a few new tiles and paint wouldn’t fix, water was hot and pressure good.
The site is a fair trek from the nearest village or shop, stock up beforehand. We were passing through so just used it for an overnight, despite being high season just us and one family in a caravan on site. ~incredibly peaceful as its down a lane from the nearest road, we saw a herd of deer moving through as we left in the morning.
To us it seemed the site may have been more developed in recent years and now is happy to just tick along with passing trade.
For a peaceful stopover it was well worth a visit, we paid £14 with ehu for 2 adults and incl. Showers.
