The staff were lovely and helpful.
The location in the woods was beautiful. However, beware if you have a big unit as the lanes to access the site are narrow and the locals we came across were very belligerent at having to pull over for us.
The lanes are also quite busy and not really that safe to walk along. The shower block was adequate but dated.
The toilets were clean but the shower tiles on the floor needed a good scrubbing.

Stayed 1 night that was enough. Touring pitch was awful, right next to the main car park. No privacy at all.
Uneven with large stones protruding.
Would definitely not return.

Paid a LOT of money to spend the week at Fell End Caravan park and the service and holiday we had was nothing short of shocking.
Very scruffy van to start off with and looked about 20 years old. The whole site is very badly in need of a good tidy up and clean I noticed the tiled area in the bar was very slippy almost like greasy feel to it. The whole site is full of ANTI Children signs prohibiting them from riding bikes, playing ball games, no running etc, and no children allowed in the complex food area after 9pm which we booked the holiday with our family in mind. Now we are not party animals who want to be out drinking till 2am but we went on holiday for the last week in the summer holidays with our kids who BTW are not toddlers they are 11 and 9 years old and they are not allowed in ??? They failed to mention this when we booked with them. We felt totally ripped off by Fell End and Pure Leisure Group hence this review which will hopefully warn others with kids.
There is not a lot if anything we can say about the place that is positive.

Went for a weekend with my husband and young daughter. A nice site with a lovely pool and bar and cafe and also a playground. Pitches were quite small set in like little cul de sacs, lovely but too many pitches in one area, especially if you wanted to put up an awning and at peak times I don't think there would be room. Shower blocks were clean and tidy but only two showers. Went into Milnthorpe, absolutely nothing there apart from a Booths! Went to Beetham Nurseries, lovely place to have a browse round. Site facilities good but need to drive to get anywhere as it would be too far to walk.

Mixed thoughts.
Some of the touring pitches are more or less within the car park where there is a constant noise of cars coming and going and no privacy at all. It is almost as though they have squeezed as many pitches in as possible. We were pitched in this area when there were other free pitches in nicer spots and we had the added unfortunate experience of being opposite two campervans full of undesirable people. (No I don't want to watch you shaving your legs outside and listen to your constant burping. )
Do your research and request a pitch at the bottom where the seasonal tourers are- it is much quieter.
Showers are just ok- no individual rooms here.
Good swimming pool and nice café area.

We stayed for four nights at the beginning of the month and thoroughly enjoyed it. We brought a couple of bikes with us and cycled to nearby milnthorpe stopping off at the Wheatsheaf at beetham pub for tea and thought the food was fantastic. We got given a pitch right across from the toilet block ( which was handy)the block itself was very clean and the shower was nice and warm with plenty of room. The on site shop was adequate and the pub was good if quiet, its a shame there was no food served on the week we stayed but we would use the site again. The location is very handy for cycling to milnthorpe, arnside and silverdale.
