 Pretty quirky campsite, but the owners are very friendly and its very convenient for visiting Modena. Also easy to access being just off the motorway (literally just off it. The slip road curls around the end of the campsite).
We arrived on a Sunday lunchtime and the traffic noise wasn't too bad, but Monday morning it was noticeably louder. Pitches are good sized, and whilst there are plenty of trees for shade they didn't cause us any access issues.
Overall the site is fine for an overnight stop to visit Modena but I wouldn't want to spend any longer due to the road noise.
There's a small bar on site where you can order bread for the morning, and a pool (very basic, but was well appreciated to cool off after a hot bike ride back from town).
It takes about 20 mins to cycle to the city centre. Top tip: turn right out of the campsite to use an underpass to get under the motorway. Its seems a lot of mapping/routing software don't recognise it and want to send you the long way around.
Just the other side of the motorway is a large shopping centre with a huge and well-stocked supermarket and plenty of parking. Also a reasonably-priced petrol station with easy access.

We liked this site.
Its like being in a park in the middle of 2 motorways! Yes traffic noise can be heard but extremely convenient.
Clean toilets and showers. Superb steakhouse next door. Good level grassed pitches.
Ideal for overnight stop or visiting Modena
